The workshop of the “friendship portrait” conducted by the department of communication and education of University City Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Tactileye , which were organized to draw a portrait with aids of interactions between different people and to convey different stories by the sense of touch. This event is the extension of the Womanifesto which help us create a friendly space where we have freedom of expression…no rules, after that it become a very strong friendship.

This event aims to build a bond between different objects and the sense perception apart from visual sense. In this activity, different people used personal items having different materials to touch as their inspiration to describe the feeling brought by their friends. Youyu used wool gloves to express her friend who makes her feel warm. Yangrou thought her friend gives her feelings of both warm and conflict as similar as the sense of touch of sand paper. Leilei used eye drops to express the friend who made her cry. During this process, people made their abstract sentimental experiences vivid and further explore the relationship with friends. Even they can find an echo in their hearts from others’ stories and thus connected stories from different people into a story.
